Do you remember Rainbow Brite? She is Care Bears' counterpart (just kidding)! ^ ^ All I remember this girl was I'm eating a fruit-flavored gelatin (in the Philippines we called it JellyAce™) and at the top of the cover there she is and sometimes other character as well.... lol
But hey I never forgot watching this show and this is one of the cutest cartoon I've ever seen in the 80's (before the Powerpuff Girls) for me. And I never forgot to draw her before, but I didn't remember at what age. I think about 8-9 or something.... ^ ^;;
Anyway, enjoy the art. Maybe I add some other characters as well, even the Sprites.
ugh, my god, I remember Rainbow brite
and even back then I never watched it. My older sis did though, she had a doll and everything. She recently brought me a shirt with rainbow brite on it... and I just kinda smiled and nodded
Excellent pic though

Yes I do! In fact, I was looking for the Jellyace product "Rainbow Magic" just recently because I needed references for her! But sad to say, Jellyace no longer uses Rainbow Brite images for that product.
I remember the Carebears more than her, and I can still catch them at CN. But the series I'm really in to right now is the modern Strawberry Shortcake animation! Hmm, American Greetings have been reviving the Care Bears and Strawberry from the 80's. Let's hope they have plans for Rainbow Brite as well!
Anyways, great and cute pic of her! Plus extra points for making us reminiscence about the 80's!

As artists, however, we are but one.
